Opstore ("we", "our", "us") is a Shopify embedded app that provides B2B operations tools including purchase orders, GST invoicing, inventory management, SKU generation, barcode generation, and product catalog creation. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you install and use the Opstore app.

We collect and store the following data to provide our services:
- Shopify store information (shop domain, access token, session data)
- Product data (titles, SKUs, prices, inventory levels, variants)
- Order data (line items, quantities, for purchase order and invoice generation)
- Inventory records (stocking history, barcode records, SKU assignments)
- App settings and configuration (GST details, brand info, invoice templates, bank details)
- Purchase order and GST invoice records created within the app
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Opstore app features
- To generate GST-compliant invoices and purchase orders
- To sync inventory between parent and child stores
- To generate and manage SKUs and barcodes
- To create product catalogs for export

Your data is stored securely on Railway (PostgreSQL database) hosted in a secure cloud environment. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as required to operate the app (e.g., Shopify API access).
5. Customer Data
Opstore does not store personal customer data (names, addresses, payment information) beyond what is included in Shopify order line items for invoice generation purposes. We do not access customer passwords or payment card details.
6. GDPR & Data Subject Rights
We comply with Shopify's GDPR requirements and applicable data protection laws. Merchants and their customers have the right to:
- Request access to their stored data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of their data
- Withdraw consent at any time

7. Data Retention
We retain your store data for as long as the Opstore app is installed on your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, your data may be retained for up to 30 days for operational continuity before permanent deletion. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.
8. Third-Party Services
Opstore integrates with the Shopify Admin API to read and write product, inventory, and order data. We do not integrate with any other third-party services that would receive your data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
